I read this article for the New Yorker quite recently, and I really had to do this blog about it. The subject is one that didn’t really interest me – I skipped over the link until a comment on Marginal Revolution that intrigued me – but it is an article I have to recommend.

It reminded me of Phototopia in some ethereal way. One of the very few things that have. Yet it isn’t a game. It isn’t even fiction. It is a masterpiece.
